Some information about me and my WEB site

I am a collector of antique radio sets and interested in wireless and broadcast history and crystal receivers.
People continue to ask "who is or what is Gollum?". Well, Gollum is a monster of Tolkienīs "Lord of the Rings". I liked the name and the conflicting personality of Gollum, although I personally am not a monster, or? I stored these pages in 1996 in the Internet. At this time I read again Tolkien's masterpiece. For the first time I had contact with the little Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings in 1979. I was searching in 1996 for a good name for this web site, so I found in my mind Gollum. Coincidence?!
Since 09/28/1996 I offer my "Gollumīs Crystal Receiver World" site ( worldwide first private WEB page related to crystal receivers).
I have also a old-time radio related domain: http://www.oldradioworld.de . I live in Berlin, Germany. I am a member of GFGF and "German Broadcast Museum Berlin" .

Ich bin ein Sammler alter Radios und interessiert an Radio- und Funktechnik und Detektor-Empfaengern.
Ich werde immer wieder gefragt: Wer oder was ist Gollum? Nun, Gollum ist ein Monster aus Tolkiens "Herr der Ringe". Der Name und die zwiespaeltige Persoenlichkeit des Gollum gefiel mir, obwohl ich eigentlich kein Monster bin, oder? Als ich diese Seiten 1996 in das Internet stellte, las ich gerade wieder mal Tolkiens Meisterwerk (erstmals kam ich mit dem kleinen Hobbit und dem Herrn der Ringe 1979 in Kontakt). Da ich einen Namen fuer diese WEB-Site suchte, tauchte Gollum in meinem Kopf auf. Zufall?!
Seit 28.09.1996 biete ich meine Homepage (weltweit erste private WEB Seite mit Detektor-Empfaengern) mit diesen Themen an.
Ich habe auch eine Domain: http://www.oldradioworld.de mit "Alte Radios" Themen. Ich lebe in Berlin, Deutschland. Ich bin Mitglied der GFGF und des "Deutschen Rundfunk-Museums Berlin" .
