The tube tester W19 of "Funke" disposes of approx.
1200 test - cards. For each tube to be tested, a test card is put on a
test array of jacks , arranged in four horizontal rows and 24 vertical
columns. Into this matrix of jacks, plugs are pushed where indicated by
holes in the selected test card. In this way the required electrical connections
for different tubes are made and the functions of the tube are then tested
with a 14 - position rotary switch . This tester was perhaps the most
used tester in Germany.

Roehren-Pruefgeraet Funke W19. Das Geraet verfuegt ueber
ca. 1200 Prüf-Karten. Auf dem Steckfeld (4 Reihen mit jeweils 24 Buchsen)
werden die Verbindungen fuer die jeweilige Roehre geschaltet. Mit dem
14 - stufigen Pruef-Schalter werden dann die einzelnen Funktionen getestet.
Dieses Geraet ist wohl das am meisten benutzte Geraet in Deutschland.
